Prepare

This section covers what you need to prepare the right materials for your application. We have rules for how we can accept these materials, so be sure to read through this section before you submit.

There are three major steps when preparing to apply for your permit.

  1. Fill out your forms.

Different projects will need different forms, and this section gives you details on how to fill them out.

Learn how to fill out your forms ↗.

  2. Create detailed plans.

Only standard bathroom permit projects will need a site plan ↗, floor plan ↗, and structural plans ↗. This section covers these in detail.

🚨 NOTE: The Simple Bathroom Program does not need to submit any plans.

Learn more about how to create plans for the standard bathroom permit ↗.

  3. Prepare your files.

We have important guidelines for how to send your files to us. Your project will move more quickly if your files follow the instructions in this section.

See our instructions for preparing your files ↗.
