As part of the annual budget process, each City Bureau forms a Budget Advisory Committee that includes management, labor, customers and internal and external stakeholders. Development Services convenes a Budget Advisory Committee with representatives from the following groups:

  • Development Services employees
  • Community organizations
  • Development industry
  • DRAC (Development Review Advisory Committee)

The primary purpose of the Budget Advisory Committee is to evaluate the bureau’s budget request in light of the City’s budget directions, the bureau’s financial resources and customer needs. The committee submits recommendations to the Development Services Director.
