Find out if your property is in a floodplain

  • Search FEMA's flood maps by address ↗
  • Search Portland Maps ↗ to determine if your property is within the FEMA Special (100-year) Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) or the Composite February 1996 Flood Inundation Area:
    • Type in an address to begin your search.
    • On the right side of the screen, select the Public Safety tab.
    • Scroll down to the Hazard section to find out if a property is in or near the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) and/or the Composite February 1996 Flood Inundation Area.

Environmental Services has helpful information for protecting your property ↗ if it is located in a floodplain.
