The City of Portland's fiscal year runs from July 1 - June 30, and the City operates on a 1-year budget cycle. Currently, PP&D is preparing its budget request for fiscal year (FY) 2023-24.

PP&D also prepares a 5-Year Financial Plan to provide long-term financial projections and to aid the bureau in decision-making. The Financial Plan is updated annually at the same time the bureau prepares its budget request. Currently, PP&D is updating the Financial Plan for the period covering FY 2023-24 through FY 2027-28. Budget Advisory Committee (BAC)

Financial Advisory Committee
